Denver---Home at Last

We were welcomed to Denver with a lovely sign on Ashley's door. Her signature since childhood is her fabulous handmade cards, collages, and signs. The trip was easy and I truly felt I was coming home as we approached Denver.


Liverpool Lady had an unfortunate experience as she reached for snacks across the carseat and so has spent the last 2 days nurturing a very painful pulled back muscle. She is feeling a little better so that's good news.

Denver Dog has not been as welcomed by her 4 legged nephew as we would like, but they'll figure each other out quickly. She was a grand traveler in her tiny space. We never even knew she was there. Her first stay at a hotel went well, and I think she really enjoyed the luxury of our suite!

Mustangsuzy is now a Denver resident ,since I just this morning signed a lease on a condo in the same complex where Ash lives. It is a great location in Denver, and the condo is well located on a greenbelt so Denver Dog (DD from now on) has a small field right out her front door. We are looking forward to our new home beginning August 1.


In the next phase of Road Trippin' we have just arrived in Breckenridge at an awesome condo where we will be spending time with Liverpool's daughter from CA and Mustang's daughter and her beau. Lots of R&R with some competitive Texas Hold 'em and Rummikube thrown in for entertainment. This is the view from one of our terraces. On the other terrace we'll be splashin' in the hot tub.
